Aquarius Season, A New Moon & Finding Your Place In The Collective

Aquarius is an air sign and it is represented by the water-bearer - it is said that the water from the vessel washes away what is no longer serving and clears the way, as the water-bearer is looking into the distance and their future. It also represents a flowing source of spirituality. Aquarius is a Fixed Sign and its key phrase is “I know”.

Your journey is YOUR Journey

Aquarians are individualistic, assertive, independent, humanitarian, original, eccentric, opinionated, intellectual, friendly, and detached. On the flip, they can be negative, impulsive, inconsistent, extremist, and stubborn. Aquarians, don't mind being alone and sometimes they can fall too easily into shutting themselves off from the world. Under this new moon, we must realize that it's not "you're either with me or against me..." *cue WIN by Jay Rock* but that we have the support of people around us who want to see us WIN, even if a few from the past have let us down. It is time to value who is around us, our community, and accept the help being offered to us.

This month it’s time to ask yourself - Whom have you neglected? Who have you overlooked or taken for granted? Could it be you neglecting you? What impact does your squad have on your mental health - do they ignite you? Do they support you? Do they get your "weird" or work through your "moments" with you. This moon will have you wanting to be around those whom you can be yourself, who get your unique and celebrate YOU.

Aquarius energy asks us who are we in the collective? How can we make our small individual worlds better? How can we make the communities around us better? what is our role on a small and large scale?

You will find yourself wanting to be more social but keep in mind it needs to be with the right crowd. Aquarius energy coupled with this retrograde could have us wanting to rebel or act out of our own frustrations. Shake things up, but not too much that you regret it or it sets you back.

Get weird, wild, and have big airy dreams but don’t get stuck in the past

Task:

  • Breathe: embrace this air sign. Do breathe work, light some incense, or use some essential oils in a diffusor. Open your windows if you can, change the sheet, fluff the pillows.

  • Put on your favorite song and get weird. Dance like no one is watching.

    Mantra:

    • “I know I am unique"

    • “I’m an individual, I celebrate my individuality, I celebrate others individuality, and surround myself with those who see me for me”

    Journal:

    • Where have I done things the tried and true way and not made any progress? How can I do the opposite and jump in?

    • Where will I stop comparing myself to others? Where can I detach from the past for my own good? Where can I collaborate or learn from people I strive to be like, instead of comparing myself and status to their success?

    • What do I need to revisit under this retrograde and how can I release past haunts?
